vertx-jooq writes the database code for Vert.x applications, and the project had no path onto Vert.x 4. This is that path, shipped as version 6.0.0: two obsolete generators are retired, the transaction interface returns a failure a caller can handle rather than throwing, the test suite runs on a Mac, and the library holds up under distributed tracing.
