This was a futures engagement rather than a design project. Workshops with T. Rowe Price staff projected shifts in digital interaction and how an asset manager should respond. The resulting paper is organized around six trends: the democratisation of information, the deprofessionalisation of professional services, the convergence of social and content media, quantitative quality and online reputation, personalisation of products and services, and content that is digital rather than digitised.
Each trend is paired with a deliberately extreme scenario rather than a moderate one, so that agreeing with it requires changing a position. The project was delivered in December 2012, with Peter Mabardi leading, Allen Sayegh as principal, and Edith Ackermann on the research side.
