SeaweedFS keeps billions of files across a cluster and hands them back in a single disk read, while Windows treats Report.txt and report.txt as the same file and a distributed store does not. This fork mounts SeaweedFS as a lettered drive on Windows, resolving and listing paths case-insensitively, creating directories exclusively, and refreshing the parent cache when a collision reports it stale; a companion driver carries the same behaviour into Kubernetes, where volumes persist across a restart of the driver or the daemon beneath it, mounts are restored inside containers that are already running, and the cache is tunable per volume.

author of the fork, 2026
SeaweedFS stores billions of files across a cluster. This fork mounts it as an ordinary drive on Windows, and serves it to Windows containers in Kubernetes.
